The Delhi High Court on Monday commented on reported lack of facilities to cremate COVID-19 victims in the national capital by saying that the situation is “highly dissatisfactory and violative of the rights of the dead”. HC asked Delhi government to file updated status report on a plea initiated by it over reports of bodies piling up in city’s mortuaries.
