Ms. Prachi Kaushik Honored with Prestigious Awards for Women’s Empowerment and Social Impact

New Delhi – Empowering women through hygiene awareness and accessibility, Vyomini Social Enterprise, under the leadership of Ms. Prachi Kaushik, recently conducted a hygiene kit distribution drive in collaboration with the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC). More than 1,000 women in Delhi’s Lal Bagh slum, near Azadpur Mandi, received essential hygiene kits aimed at improving menstrual and personal hygiene practices. This initiative not only provided much-needed sanitary resources but also fostered awareness on the importance of hygiene in women’s health and dignity. Vyomini Social Enterprise continues to work at the grassroots level, ensuring that women from low-income communities gain access to affordable hygiene solutions and employment-oriented skill development opportunities.

Ms. Kaushik was honored with the Abhaya Bravery Award for excellence in community empowerment through innovation and entrepreneurship. Recognized as a Pioneer in Social Welfare, she was felicitated by the Abhaya Movement for a Rape-Free India in Bengaluru. In acknowledgment of her commitment to supporting victims of sexual harassment and atrocities, she has been nominated as the Face of Abhaya for the North Region. The event witnessed the intellectual and business community of Bengaluru taking a pledge towards ensuring women’s safety and security.

The Naari Shakti Award under the Women of Social Impact category, conferred by AVVIARE Educational Hub, Noida, acknowledged Ms. Kaushik’s remarkable contributions to women’s economic empowerment and health initiatives. The ceremony brought together thought leaders and social changemakers who commended her steadfast commitment to social causes.

Ms. Kaushik was also invited as a keynote speaker at GL Bajaj Group of Institutes, Mathura, where she addressed an audience of students, academicians, and social impact leaders. She spoke on the importance of women-led entrepreneurship and economic self-reliance. Her insightful speech inspired young minds to take up initiatives that foster women’s empowerment and social change.
