Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital Conducts Grand Celebration For The Twins
Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Parel, Mumbai celebrated the 10th birthday of conjoined twins Riddhi-Siddhi by organizing fun-filled activities. The twins were joined at the buttocks and were separated with the help of a complex surgery in 2014. The huge birthday bash was organized in the presence of doctors, nurses, and other staff in the hospital premises on Monday. The twins were extremely happy, teary, and danced with joy.
Riddhi-Siddhi are a part of the hospital and live there as their family members left them in the hospital. Now, the twins have turned 10, and have resumed school and are achieving developmental milestones of their age. They are able to move freely since the Covid curve has flattened in the country but follow the Covid protocol of masking, social distancing, and hand sanitizing. These twins have given hope to many like them and are leading a life they have always dreamt of.
“Like every year, a big birthday party was conducted for Riddhi-Siddhi who turned 10. They are our inspiration, the daughters of the hospital. The hospital takes care of all the medical expenses, schooling, nutrition, and other needs of the twins. They are brave hearts and face any difficulty with a smile. The twins are able to do all their day-to-day activities on their own. The girls deserve a better life and we are fortunate to have helped them fulfil their dreams. These girls fill our hearts with happiness. Blessings and good wishes are pouring in for them on their birthday. We wish a bright future for these fighters. And, we are looking forward to giving a fresh lease of life to others like these conjoined twins. Celebrating their birthday has become a norm for us. We intend to celebrate their birthday with the same spirit in the upcoming years too,” concluded Dr Minnie Bodhanwala, CEO Wadia Hospital.
