Wockhardt Hospitals has taken a big initiative to improve the quality of life of cancer patients.
“A large number of people in every age group are getting detected with cancer. Lack of proper screening methods, diagnosis, and timely treatment can raise mortality and morbidity rates in cancer patients. It is the need of the hour to educate everyone about cancer and encourage them to seek timely intervention with any delay. The hospital has come up with an oncology department to manage various cancers such as breast, esophageal, ovarian, uterine, gallbladder and bile duct, prostate, bladder, thyroid, liver, bone, colon, cervical, and leukemia with its expertise via a multidisciplinary approach. We also felicitated cancer survivors who are an inspiration and have set an example in society. We thank Nashik Oncology Group for supporting us in this unique initiative taken for the benefit of cancer patients,” said Dr Reshma Borale, Centre Head, Wockhardt Hospital, Nashik.
