Yashoda Medicity Signs Kazakhstan MoU with Turkistan Health Care Department

Yashoda Medicity , Ghaziabad, has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Turkistan Health Care Department of Kazakhstan to strengthen cooperation in specialised medical care, patient referrals, healthcare training and institutional knowledge exchange.

A Structured Pathway for Patients from Turkistan

Under the agreement, patients from Turkistan requiring complex medical interventions will have a structured pathway to access specialised tertiary and quaternary healthcare at Yashoda Medicity in India. The collaboration covers second opinions, tele-consultations and treatment planning, along with coordination for appointments, hospital admissions and visa-related requirements, subject to applicable regulations.  Learn about our International Patient Services

Quaternary-Care Specialties Covered Under the MoU

Yashoda Medicity’s quaternary-care capabilities available to referred patients include:

Cancer care, Cardiac sciences, Neurosciences, Gastroenterology and liver sciences, Robotic and minimally invasive surgery, Nephrology and renal transplantation

Healthcare Workforce Development and Training Exchange

The MoU also focuses on healthcare workforce development. Doctors, nurses and paramedical professionals from Turkistan will have opportunities to participate in short- and long-term training programmes, clinical observerships and fellowships. Both sides will also exchange knowledge in areas including hospital management and quality systems.

How the Partnership Will Be Coordinated

The Turkistan Health Care Department will coordinate patient referrals and nominate healthcare professionals for training programmes. Yashoda Medicity will provide facilitation to department-referred patients, subject to availability, and will designate a nodal officer to support coordination. The agreement also includes provisions related to patient confidentiality, data protection, medical ethics and privacy.  International Patient Coordination Team

Part of Growing India-Central Asia Healthcare Cooperation

The partnership comes amid expanding healthcare and medical-value-travel cooperation between India and Central Asia. The 4th India-Central Asia Dialogue, held in June 2025, identified healthcare and medical tourism as areas for greater cooperation.
