ADMI Elects New Secretary and Joint Secretary to Managing Committee

New Delhi, India — August 7, 2026: The Association of Diagnostics Manufacturers of India (ADMI), an industry association representing manufacturers in India’s In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) sector, is pleased to announce that Mr. Nital Patel of Reckon Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. has been elected as Secretary, and Mr. Prakash Rana of Prahas Healthcare LLP has been elected as Joint Secretary of the Managing Committee.

As elected members of ADMI’s Managing Committee, Mr. Nital Patel and Mr. Prakash Rana will take on their respective responsibilities as Secretary and Joint Secretary. Together with the other members of the Managing Committee, they will contribute to ADMI’s industry, policy, and regulatory priorities — with continued focus on quality, domestic manufacturing, innovation, and the growth of India’s IVD ecosystem.

President Welcomes the New Office Bearers

Welcoming the newly elected office bearers, Mr. Jatin Mahajan, President, ADMI, said:

“I am pleased to welcome Mr. Nital Patel and Mr. Prakash Rana to their new responsibilities within ADMI. Both bring valuable industry experience and an understanding of the opportunities and challenges before India’s diagnostics sector. We look forward to working together to strengthen ADMI’s engagement with industry, government and other stakeholders, while continuing our focus on quality, indigenous manufacturing, innovation and the growth of India’s IVD ecosystem.”

Key Focus Areas for the Managing Committee

ADMI will continue to focus on the following priorities:

  • Constructive engagement with government bodies and other stakeholders on policies relevant to domestic IVD manufacturers
  • Closer coordination between industry and regulatory authorities on compliance, quality standards, and ease of doing business
  • Encouraging research and development, capacity building, and wider adoption of relevant technologies across the diagnostics sector

Commenting on his new responsibility, Mr. Nital Patel, Secretary, ADMI, said:
