AIIA organises Multi-Cultural Dance Competition for Ayurveda Day 2022

The Ayush Ministry’s plan to mark National Ayurveda Day on October 23rd, 2022 with the theme “Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda” is well underway. Ministers are taking efforts to assist this worldwide celebration. In account of it Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Ayush, has encouraged a multicultural dancing competition as a strength to the day as a Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Nesari, Director of the All India Institute of Ayurveda, attended the event, which was organised in collaboration with Danse-Buzz, a Noida-based dance school as a special Guest. Ms Chetna Das: Assam Actor was also the Special Guest for the programme.

The occasion began with the lighting of a lamp and a welcoming speech by the founder of the DanseBuzz school. Around thirty PG and Ph.D Scholars of All India Institute of Ayurveda participated along with the faculty members. ‘Panch Bhautik: Principle of Ayurveda’ was the key theme of the performance by the Scholars named ‘Harmony-Wellness through Ayurveda. Harmony of the elements is achieved through the universe.’

‘The Universe is made of five elements same as the Human Body’ was the message conveyed by the performers.

“The National Ayurveda Day event aspires to bring Ayurveda into the global limelight while also building a healthcare system that is accessible and compatible with contemporary medical practices.” For the general success of this movement in our daily lives, it is critical that the message of “Har din Har Ghar Ayurveda” be accepted by every home,” remarked Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Ayush.”

Dr Tanuja Nesari delivered the keynote talk on Ayurveda, which was followed by dancing contests. “We are grateful to the Ministry of Ayush for naming us as the nodal agency for the National Ayurveda Day festivities.” We shall make every effort to increase participation in the celebration with the 3Js, namely Jan Sandesh, Jan Bhagidari, and Jan Andolan. We have involved 22 Ministries and Departments of the Government of India to bring Ayurveda into the mainstream internationally and to make it stated Dr Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Nesari, Director All India Institute of Ayurveda.”

The competition concluded with a prize distribution ceremony with Prof (Dr) Nesari explaining the importance of this year’s Ayurveda’s day theme.
