Manipal Hospital, Whitefield, today announced the appointment of renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Shivareddy H A, as Consultant Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement Surgeon. He has wide experience in robotic surgeries, joint replacements, complex trauma, and pelvic acetabular fracture management. He has been involved in more than 5,000 joint replacement surgeries. He has performed more than 1,500 joint replacement surgeries, including knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, and ankle replacements. He has 14 years of experience in joint replacements and other orthopaedic surgeries and has performed many complex surgeries with ease and extreme caution.

Before joining Manipal Hospitals, Dr. Shivareddy H A trained and worked in many orthopaedic institutions, gaining vast experience in orthopaedics, especially in joint replacement surgeries. He also has in-depth knowledge of computer-assisted navigation and robotic replacement surgeries, primary and revision knee joint replacements, hip joint replacements, shoulder replacements, unicompartmental knee replacement, corrective osteotomies around the knee (HTO), and sports medicine.

After completing MBBS, Dr. Shivareddy completed his fellowship in joint replacement surgery from Asklepios Orthopadische Klinik Lindenlohe, Germany. He also completed his training in advanced-level complex trauma and fractures, with advanced training in fracture management from the Association of Osteosynthesis, AO, Switzerland.
