The National Medical Commission NMC has proposed a centralised mechanism to record and track disciplinary action against registered medical practitioners across India. The proposal is part of the draft Registration of Medical Practitioners and Licence to Practice Medicine (Amendment) Regulations, 2026, aimed at strengthening transparency and
