Ultrahuman has introduced the HealthEx PowerPlug, a new feature designed to bring together a user’s medical records and continuous health data collected by the Ultrahuman Ring. Launched on September 17, 2026, the integration aims to give users a more connected view of their health by placing clinical information and everyday biometric measurements within the same timeline.

The new PowerPlug is being rolled out in the United States through the Ultrahuman app. It is powered by HealthEx, a health-data platform that allows individuals to access and share their medical records with selected healthcare applications and services.

Connecting Medical Records With Continuous Health Data

Traditionally, medical records and wearable data exist in separate places. A patient may have diagnoses, prescriptions, procedures and test results stored across different hospitals, clinics and laboratories, while a wearable continuously records information such as heart rate, sleep and other physiological measurements.

The HealthEx PowerPlug is designed to connect these two sources of information.

According to Ultrahuman, the feature can map 532 conditions, medications and procedures from electronic medical records into the Ultrahuman app. This information can then be viewed alongside measurements from the Ultrahuman Ring, including resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, skin temperature and deep sleep.

This creates a timeline in which users can see clinical events alongside changes in their daily biometric data.

For example, a new medication recorded in a medical record can appear alongside subsequent changes in wearable measurements. Similarly, previous diagnoses or procedures can be viewed in the context of ongoing health and lifestyle data.

How the HealthEx PowerPlug Works

The integration uses HealthEx to retrieve medical records from healthcare organizations selected by the user. After identity verification, HealthEx can locate records across healthcare providers through the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA).

Users decide which care sites they want to connect and provide consent for their records to be accessed. They can also stop sharing their records at any time.

Once connected, the records become part of the user’s health timeline inside the Ultrahuman ecosystem.

This approach is intended to reduce the need for individuals to manually collect information from multiple patient portals before a medical appointment.

Identifying Potentially Missed Follow-Ups

One of the notable functions of the PowerPlug is its ability to highlight information that may warrant discussion during a future healthcare visit.

The platform can identify conditions, procedures or medications in the medical record and surface questions when a relevant marker has not been checked or when a follow-up interval may have passed. The information is presented as something to discuss with a healthcare professional rather than as a diagnosis or medical decision.

For patients managing multiple health conditions or visiting different specialists, having historical information and current wearable measurements together could make it easier to prepare for appointments.

Visit Pack Designed for Doctor Appointments

Ultrahuman is also introducing a Visit Pack, a doctor-ready summary designed to help users prepare for their next appointment.

The summary brings together relevant information from the user’s medical record, including medications and clinical history, with associated wearable information. The PowerPlug can also flag questions or tests that users may want to raise with their physician based on their records.

The goal is not to replace the physician’s role, but to help users arrive at appointments with their health information organized and easier to review.

Ultrahuman CEO and founder Mohit Kumar said the integration is intended to put crucial health records in one place while adding context to Ring measurements. HealthEx CEO and co-founder Priyanka Agarwal similarly described medical records as capturing what happened during healthcare encounters, while wearable data can provide information about what happens between those encounters.

Focus on Consumer Control and Privacy

Because the PowerPlug handles sensitive health information, privacy and consent are central to the integration.

According to Ultrahuman, users actively choose which records to connect and can withdraw access. The company and HealthEx also state that they do not sell member health data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

HealthEx describes its broader platform as giving individuals control over how their health history is accessed, understood and shared with healthcare providers and applications.

The emphasis on user-controlled access reflects a broader movement toward giving individuals greater control over their personal health information.

Availability and Pricing

The HealthEx PowerPlug began rolling out to Ultrahuman Ring users in the United States on September 17, 2026. According to the company, the feature costs $4.99 per month or $45.99 per year and is available through the PowerPlugs section of the Ultrahuman app.

Separately, HealthEx Wallet, which provides access to a unified longitudinal health history, is currently available free of charge directly through HealthEx.

Ultrahuman also says that deeper HealthEx integrations with other PowerPlugs, including Vitamin D, GLP-1 and Respiratory Health, are planned for future releases.

A Move Toward a More Connected Health Ecosystem

The HealthEx PowerPlug represents another step in Ultrahuman’s broader strategy of expanding its wearable ecosystem beyond basic fitness and wellness tracking. The company has previously introduced PowerPlugs covering areas such as AFib detection, respiratory health, GLP-1-related tracking and migraine insights.

By connecting clinical records with continuous wearable measurements, Ultrahuman is attempting to create a more comprehensive personal health timeline.

However, the company emphasizes that the HealthEx PowerPlug is a general wellness feature and not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease and should not replace professional medical care.
