Jaipur, 2026: Prodoc AI and the Association of Healthcare Providers – AHPI (India) have
entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a DPDPA Implementation
Partnership, marking a significant step towards strengthening data protection, governance and
responsible digital practices across the healthcare sector.

The MoU was signed during the 4th AHPI Leadership Summit 2026 in Jaipur, bringing
together healthcare leaders and stakeholders to deliberate on emerging priorities shaping the
future of healthcare delivery in India.

The partnership focuses on supporting healthcare organisations in navigating the requirements of
the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) and developing stronger frameworks for
responsible data management. With healthcare organisations increasingly relying on digital
systems, electronic health records, connected technologies and artificial intelligence, effective
governance of personal and health-related data has become an important component of patientcentric care.
According to the organisations, the partnership goes beyond viewing data protection solely as a
regulatory requirement. It aims to encourage healthcare providers to integrate data governance,
privacy practices and responsible AI principles into their organisational processes.

The collaboration is also expected to contribute towards greater awareness and preparedness
among healthcare institutions as they adapt to India’s evolving digital and regulatory
environment. By strengthening institutional approaches to privacy and data management,
