Women from all walks of life should take care of their health

Telangana Governor and Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has said that the role of women in the family as well as in the society is very important and the society can move forward only if they are good. She said that women should maintain their health without neglecting any minor illness. She suggested that they shouldn’t neglect even a minute problem, and take complete care about their health. Every minute of delay in diagnosis and treatment may lead to a larger problem, so women should be careful and mind their health always, she told. She was speaking as the chief guest at the Women’s Health Conclave-2023 organized by KIMS Cuddles Hospital at Novotel Hotel, HICC on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Tamilisai said that every part of our body is very important and we need to have the right understanding of them. It’s not right to leave it as if the husband, the children, or the parents will take care of it. She said that everyone should take care of their own health. Especially those who are in jobs, businesses, and politics, whatever field they are flying high in, women are not taking care of their health, she expressed her opinion. The governor congratulated Dr. K. Shilpi Reddy, for organizing such a special program for the health of women. She requested to take up more such initiatives in the future as well.

The goal of the Women’s Health Conclave is to bring women together, give them access to experts on women’s health, and allow them to discuss their own health concerns, said Dr. Shilpi Reddy. The event featured talks, discussions, and workshops on topics such as pregnancy, menopause, mental health, and cancer prevention. Women from all walks of life attended the conclave, discussed these topics, and cleared their doubts.

The Women’s Health Conclave stood as a great opportunity for women to learn about their health, connect with other women, and take control of their well-being. It is a space for women to voice their concerns, ask questions, and get answers from experts in the health field.

So many homemakers, employees, entrepreneurs, business heads, and political leaders attended the conclave. They spoke to the Governor, who is also a qualified doctor. They had a good interaction with her.
