TGH-Onco-Life Cancer Centre will now offer free treatment to cancer patients under the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY) scheme.  The novel AI-based Tomo-therapy system enables real-time tracking and adjustments during radiation therapy sessions with higher precision by targeting cancer cells, minimizing damage to healthy tissue, and ensuring patient comfort. The Hospital is a one-stop solution for cancer patients to improve their quality of life.

This scheme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest MLA Mr. Sunil Shelke along with other dignitaries Mr. Uday Deshmukh, Chairman and founder of Onco Life Hospital, Shri Ganesh Khandge (President-TGH), Shri Shailesh Shah (Chairman-TGH), Dr.Satyajit Wadhokar (Secretary-TGH), Dr. Prataparaje Mahadik, Director, Sachin Deshmukh, Managing Director and General Manager Dr. Santosh Sahu and all the eminent doctors were present on the occasion.

The main objective of this transformative healthcare Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY) is to provide free quality treatment to needy patients. Currently, Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) are jointly implemented in the state. At TGH – Onco Life Cancer Centre in Talegaon-Dabhade, the benefits of this scheme will be provided for individuals or families holding yellow, orange and white ration cards . They shall be provided free treatment under the MJPJAY scheme.

“We are devoted to making the latest cancer treatment available at affordable rates eliminating the need for patients to travel to metropolitan cities. Thanks to the MJPJAY scheme, we can now offer a range of cutting-edge cancer treatments in our hospital. All aspects of cancer care including diagnosis to treatment will be available under one roof.  With the rising number of cancer cases in India, we have started a dedicated outpatient department (OPD) and a chemotherapy ward integrated with state-of-the-art radiation technology and other facilities for patients in the hospital, said Mr. Uday Deshmukh, the Founder & CEO of Onco-Life Hospitals.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Shri Sunil Shelke expressed that ” TGH Onco Life Cancer Centre is dedicated to patient care, prioritizing social responsibility over mere profit-making. With this initiative, patients in need will now have access to cancer treatment within the district, instead of going to cities like Pune or Mumbai for their care. This is truly satisfying, and we extend our gratitude to the hospital’s management board. I am committed to working in tandem with the hospital to ensure that needy people get full benefit from this program.”
