The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) hosted the CII Western Region Innovation in Healthcare and Hospital Technology Awards 2024, an event that brought together leading healthcare professionals, industry experts, and innovators to honour outstanding achievements in the healthcare sector. This prestigious awards program recognizes hospitals, medical institutions, NGOs, and healthcare providers for their groundbreaking contributions to patient care and innovation.

Mr. Krishnan V., Chairman of CII WR Health Tech Awards 2024 and Chief Operating Officer of Raman and Weil, opened the ceremony with a warm address, acknowledging the remarkable leadership and innovation within India’s healthcare industry.

He extended special thanks to Dr. Parag Rindani, Chairman of the CII Western Region Sub-Committee on Healthcare and CEO of Wockhardt Hospitals, Dr. Tarang Gianchandani, Co-Chairperson of the CII WR Sub-Committee on Healthcare and Group CEO of Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre, and Mr. Joy Chakraborty, Chairman of CII Hospital Tech 2024 and COO of P D Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre, for their invaluable guidance and support throughout the awards process.

A special acknowledgment was given to Padma Shri Dr. Ramakant Deshpande, Chairman of the Jury Committee of the HealthTech Awards 2024 and Executive Chairman of the Asian Cancer Institute, as well as Dr. Nilesh Shah, Co-Chairman of the Jury Committee and President and Advisor to the CEO of Metropolis Healthcare Ltd., for their expertise and dedication.

This year, we received over 50 entries from healthcare institutions across India. A stellar jury of 26 healthcare experts evaluated the shortlisted applicants based on sustainability/scalability, impact, and initiative/project.
