Marking World Cancer Day on February 4, HCG Cancer Centre, Double Road Bangalore, organised a 3-km Walkathon for Cancer Awareness to encourage conversations around early detection, timely diagnosis, and access to quality oncology care. The initiative was conducted in association with the Bangalore Oncology Group and was graced by Chief Guest Kalpana Venkatachar, former Indian Test and ODI cricketer from Karnataka, along with healthcare professionals and members of the general public.

The walkathon, themed “Right Step. First Time.” Approximately 300 participants, including oncologists, clinicians, caregivers, survivors, and citizens, took part in the walkathon.
