a global leader in next generation digital services and consulting, has completed the acquisition of Optimum Healthcare IT, a US based healthcare digital transformation and consulting firm, for approximately $465 million in an all cash transaction. The acquisition strengthens Infosys’ healthcare and life sciences portfolio and significantly expands its presence in the US healthcare provider ecosystem.

 

Optimum Healthcare IT is a leading healthcare IT consulting firm specializing in enterprise application services, digital transformation, workforce management solutions, and large scale electronic health record (EHR) implementations for healthcare providers. The company is recognized as a Best in KLAS healthcare consulting firm and has established strong partnerships across major enterprise technology platforms including ServiceNow, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Workday.

 

The acquisition adds significant scale and domain depth to Infosys’ healthcare business. Optimum Healthcare IT reportedly brings over 1,600+ healthcare IT professionals and has demonstrated strong growth in healthcare transformation engagements across hospital systems and provider networks in the United States.

 

Financially, the deal strengthens Infosys’ position in the fast growing healthcare IT services market, which continues to expand driven by increasing demand for AI based clinical decision support, cloud migration, interoperability, and value based care transformation. The transaction is also among Infosys’ larger strategic acquisitions in recent years and is part of a broader $560 million combined acquisition strategy including multiple US based technology firms.

 

Optimum Healthcare IT is estimated to have generated approximately $275.9 million in revenue in CY25, reflecting strong growth momentum in healthcare consulting and digital transformation services prior to acquisition.

 

Infosys plans to integrate Optimum Healthcare IT with its AI first Infosys Topaz platform and cloud ecosystem Infosys Cobalt, enabling large scale transformation programs across healthcare providers. The combined capabilities are expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce administrative costs, and enhance patient outcomes through AI driven automation and data analytics.
