In a major push to strengthen public healthcare infrastructure, Nayab Singh Saini has inaugurated and laid the foundation for healthcare projects worth more than ₹100 crore across Haryana. The initiatives are aimed at improving access to quality medical services, expanding treatment facilities, and enhancing healthcare delivery in both urban and rural areas of the state.

A key highlight of the announcement was the launch of free dialysis services at Maharishi Chyavan Medical College, Koriawas (Narnaul), and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College, Chhainsa (Faridabad). The dialysis programme will be operated at an annual cost of approximately ₹3.60 crore, providing relief to patients suffering from chronic kidney disease who require regular treatment.

The newly launched healthcare projects include upgrades to medical infrastructure, expansion of healthcare services, and strengthening of government healthcare institutions. Officials said the investments are expected to improve patient care and reduce the need for residents to travel outside their districts for specialized treatment.

According to health experts, the burden of chronic diseases such as kidney disorders, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions has been steadily rising across India, increasing the demand for affordable dialysis and specialized healthcare services. Free dialysis facilities are expected to particularly benefit economically weaker patients, for whom long-term treatment often becomes a financial challenge.

The Haryana government has been focusing on expanding healthcare infrastructure through new medical colleges, hospital upgrades, and increased healthcare workforce recruitment. Public health officials believe these investments will help improve healthcare accessibility and support the state’s efforts to strengthen medical services at the grassroots level.

The latest projects form part of Haryana’s broader strategy to improve healthcare outcomes and ensure affordable treatment for citizens while enhancing the capacity of public healthcare institutions to meet growing healthcare demands.
