On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Kailash Institute of Naturopathy, Ayurveda &
Yoga (KINAY), which is a wing of Kailash Healthcare, is organizing a series of wellness activities with
the theme 'Yoga for Healthy Aging' on June 21st. The purpose of these activities is to promote preventive
healthcare and motivate people of all age groups to practice yoga and a holistic lifestyle to maintain good
health.

The activity will be carried out following the Common Yoga Protocol defined by the Ministry of AYUSH,
providing participants with genuine and well-structured yoga routines for the maintenance of health and
well-being.

On the special occasion, Dr. Uma Shankar Sharma, Medical-In-Charge, KINAY, said, "Yoga is not
just a workout regimen. Rather, it's a comprehensive approach that promotes the health of the body,
mind, and soul. On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2026, when the theme is 'Yoga for Healthy
Aging,' our goal is to educate people about how yoga practice and lifestyle changes can greatly improve
the quality of their lives as they grow older. With the help of consultation sessions, yoga classes, and
awareness workshops, we aim to motivate individuals to adopt preventative healthcare measures and

One of the activities planned during this year's International Yoga Day at KINAY is an Open Yoga Class at
no cost from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Participants are required to register for the class by 20 June 2026.
Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to participate in Free Yoga Consultations throughout
the day. Such consultations will provide participants with personal guidance in matters relating to yoga,
dietary changes, stress relief techniques, and other ways of staying fit and well.

Another activity, an Awareness Workshop titled "Healthy Aging Through Lifestyle Management," will also
take place between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This workshop will concentrate on how one can live healthy by
adopting appropriate lifestyle and health management habits that include yoga practice, good eating, and
stress relief techniques.

This program is meant to help KINAY raise awareness of the positive effects of yoga among people.
