In India, 15 lives are lost every day for the want of an organ. Shockingly, Maharashtra is lagging behind when it comes to organ donation than other states. The interactive panel discussion, video presentations, and testimonials from transplant recipients and their families highlighted how organ donation is life-saving. Myths surrounding this subject were dispelled by experts. “The Wall Of Honor” was unveiled to boost the organ donation drive. The courageous families who donated the organs of their children were felicitated during the event. A journey of the transplant program will be showcased during the event.
