The Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, celebrated its 50th Anniversary on the 06th of July. As part of the celebrations, the Jaslok-FertilTree International Fertility Centre, celebrated the birth of more than 20,000 babies.

Fifty children of all ages who were conceived at the Jaslok-FertilTree Centre performed an exciting array of dances, choreographed by the internationally renowned  Farah Khan. The event was graced by the Chief Guest Mr. Tusshar Kapoor who opting for IVF became a single parent to Lakshya in 2016.

Dr. Firuza Parikh, Director of the Centre said “Ours has been an exhilarating journey of over 34 years. We are grateful to have served our patients and for our 20,000 babies.  At Jaslok-FertilTree our mission is to perform with diligence and advanced technology in helping infertile couples from all walks of life”.

Mr. Jitendra Haryan, CEO, Jaslok Hospital said, “Every birth is a celebration for us but milestones like these reinforce our belief that every couple deserves the path to parenthood”.

The Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre is one of the oldest tertiary care, multi-specialty Trust hospitals of the country, The institution was conceptualized & endowed to the city of Mumbai by Seth Lokoomal Chanrai who.came from a family of philanthropists. The name Jaslok was derived from the names of Seth Lokoomal & his wife Smt. Jasotibai. The hospital was inaugurated on 6th July 1973 by the erstwhile Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi.
